Secure the funding to complete
the Bay Bridge Pathway to San Francisco
The new East Span of the Bay Bridge will include
a pathway for cyclists, pedestrians,
and Caltrans maintenance activities,
regardless of the design that is
ultimately selected. TALC is joining
with the San Francisco Bicycle
Coalition (SFBC), Bay Area Bicycle
Coalition, and others, in asking
state and regional leaders to fund
completion of the pathway from
Treasure Island to San Francisco.
Relative to the cost of the East
Span Replacement, adding a pathway
to the existing West Span is a
bargain, and would have multiple
benefits for Bay Area commuters of
all modes. Visit the SFBC website
