Transportation Fund for Climate Protection: AB 2744
TALC is sponsoring AB 2744, a bill that would give Bay Area residents the opportunity to create a Transportation Fund for Climate Protection.

RTP: Climate Focus Can Help All
TALC's 2009 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) campaign will be our most intense effort to drive down climate emissions and show that our local health and environment will gain as a result. The RTP, MTC’s 25-year, $100+ billion funding blueprint, is where we can win the projects, programs, and policies needed to create a Better Bay Area.

Safe Routes to Schools
TALC is leading a partnership that is bringing Safe Routes to Schools programs to over 30 schools in Alameda County. Join the growing program or download resources materials that can be used for Safe Routes to Schools programs anywhere.

Great Communities
The Great Communities Collaborative is helping Bay Area communities plan for neighborhoods near transit. With 1.7 million new people expected over the next 25 years, the Collaborative's goal is that half of new homes are in walkable neighborhoods that are near transit and rich with jobs and services.

TALC is a partnership of over 100 groups working for a sustainable and socially just Bay Area. We envision a region with healthy,  walkable communities that provide all residents with transportation choices and affordable housing. TALC analyzes county and regional policies, works with community groups to develop alternatives, and coordinates grassroots campaigns.
