Transit-Oriented Housing
|
Increasing
the number of people who live or work near transit does two
important things: gives the residents, workers, and shoppers an
alternative to driving; and provides a ridership base for the
transit system. This toolbox provides a range of creative ways to
encourage development near transit stations, to enable residents
to drive less, and to reward those who live there for making
sustainable transportation choices. |
